What is IM Kids?

At Crossfit OptIMize, age is no barrier to physical fitness. Our kids program provides our younger members with opportunities for fun ways to engage in broad, general, and inclusive fitness. We've found that Crossfit improves kids' general physical preparedness, fosters community in the midst of competition, and promotes a lifetime of physical fitness.

Our program focuses on avoiding overuse injuries due to early specialization and helps to eliminate the resulting competitive burnout early specialization can cause. We want kids to be happy and healthy. We want them to be physically capable of pursuing any athletic endeavor while learning about teamwork, persistence, and improving sport-specific skills through practice. But most importantly, we want them to be able to do both the rest of their life, and that foundation can start as soon as today.
