Who We Are
We are a CrossFit gym, but we are so much more than just a CrossFit gym. First, we are a community, a family. We believe the best way to get fit, lose fat, build muscle, tone up, and gain confidence is through our group fitness structure. Each of our programs harnesses the power of group motivation and performance, and our skilled coaching staff knows just how to encourage, motivate, and challenge you to optimize your potential.
We boast three amazing locations to serve the Lexington, West Columbia, and Downtown Columbia communities. All three locations sport our tried and true Crossfit classes, but each location stands out for its own particular strengths and character. Like to run? Our IM endurance program helps you to put one foot in front of the other in a safe and efficient way to PR your next race time. Interested in Olympic Weightlifting? Our weightlifting aficionados will walk you through specific programming to improve your snatch, clean & jerk, and total. Do you love rowing? The IM rowing program makes the C2 rower your best friend. Maybe you just want a fat-blasting cardio burn? Our bootcamp style IM Fit class combines the best of community with the best of cardio for a high speed sweat fest that’s sure to get your blood pumping.
Maybe you're just a tiny bit nervous about whether Crossfit OptIMize is the right place for you. Or, maybe you used to work out, but that was so long ago that you have forgotten more than you remember. OR, maybe you’ve never done anything like this. NO PROBLEM! Our Foundations team will help acquaint you with the movements, terms, and lingo we use everyday. Once you get the hang of the system, you will be an old pro in no time!
